Over the past year, many exciting things have happened to the members of our family. I would like to think of this little corner as a family. Let me know your prayer needs, your funniest event, your latest craft project, your dreams and favorite foods just so we all can get to know each other better. I will start--------My name is Lyn, I am a Christian and I sell craft painting supplies. I love to do all types of crafts and I love to write. I like people. My favorite color is blue but I love all colors, especially bright and colorful. One memory I will share with you from way back. I remember my mom canning peaches and pears. I remember helping her. I remember the kitchen smelled like a sweet shop, with smells of cinnamon, baked apple and vanilla. After the jars had cooled I remember taking them down to a dark damp cellar and placing them on shelves. These were to carry us through the winter.-------I can almost smell the aroma now. I loved our cellar. It had a washing machine with a roller to ring out the clothes. There was also an extra stove. I use to make believe I was keeping house there. It was my get away and there I dreamed all the things of being grown up and having a house of my own.---------My mom taught me sewing and I experimented with many different crafts. I remember when it would rain, I would sew all day. --- We did not watch TV. a lot. We had an old broken down garage in our back yard and it became our ship, as a kid I would cause others to walk the plank as they did in Peter Pan. Or it was our rocket ship to the moon as Flash Gordon did. We never stopped having new ideas for that wrecked play ground. We spent hours in it just letting our imagination run wild .--Well that’s enough for now tell me some of your memories. Until then so long. Oh! by the way this here is a picture of my sister and I when we were little. I am the oldest. Talk about remember when---------
